When I was a young child in Denmark, I would lie in the rear window of our car and look up at the stars as we drove across the dark landscapes in the evenings. I felt like I was up there with them; it was safe and felt like Home. My mother taught me the very first things about the night sky - she showed me how to find Orion's belt and the North Star and I had a star globe I would stare at for hours. I wanted to be an astronomer because I wanted to be one with the stars - I had not yet heard about astrology.

I grew up and forgot all about the stars and constellations until one summer day in 1985. I had severely sprained my ankle and was looking at several weeks of being on crutches. I lived on the 5th floor with no elevator at the time. All my friends were on summer vacation, so I would be spending most of that summer alone in my tiny apartment. What to do? "Why, I'll learn astrology!" The thought just came out of nowhere. No context, not triggered by anything, it just came. Solar arc Mercury was squaring my Uranus and I heard the call.

I called up my sister and she drove me to the alternative bookstore and I bought two introductory books, the house tables and an ephemeris and got to work. This was before computers, so everything was done by hand, incl. calculating the exact planetary positions. Creating a chart took time and was both an art and a science. I fell in love with astrology from the start and I got my astrology diploma in 1987.

I moved to the US and I first studied with Noel Tyl. Then, I discovered Evolutionary Astrology and felt completely drawn to it - the spiritual side of me had felt something was missing in the modern psychological astrology I had been studying up until then. Learning from Jeffrey Wolf Green and Steven Forrest put an entirely different spin on astrology for me. Then, a few years ago, I discovered Visual Astrology and Bernadette Brady and that was the most exciting discovery of them all. Visual Astrology returned me to an intimate connection with the night sky, not only the planets moving along their path. This resonated deeply with me and I felt a powerful connection with the ancient astrologer/priests. They are my true ancestors.

In early 2009, I came across Silvia Hartmann  and she was going to change my life like nobody else. Before that, I had studied many kinds of healing techniques, looking for healing for some severe disturbances from my childhood that threatened my sanity for many years. At this point, I was doing very well indeed and life was good. I was very happy with how much I had healed.

Then, Silvia Hartmann and EmoTrance came along, telling me that healing traumas is only the first step - true magic awaits on the other side. Everything inside me came alive and I felt an excitement I have never experienced before. My first encounter with EmoTrance was trying it out on a most serious life and death event that happened to me when I was very young and that I had never been able to move beyond. It took EmoTrance 10 minutes during a lunch break at the office to clear that!

Now, this memory  was something I had been aware of since a flashback in my mid-twenties and I had tried everything from conventional therapy to psychotherapy to Reiki to EFT and although they had all helped to ease it, none of them had resolved the issue. Yet, EmoTrance did it in 10 minutes! I was blown away and of course signed up to learn more about this and became a practitioner myself.

While I was studying EmoTrance I started to learn about the endless resources available through Silvia Hartmann, the most brilliant psychological, magical mind of our time. I took her course on Events Psychology and healed to an even greater degree - much greater than I had ever thought possible. And after 10 months of intense studying and working with myself using her techniques, I discovered that she was right indeed. I had moved beyond healing and had entered the Kingdom of Magic that she had promised would be on the other side.

This is where I am today! Living a life I had never thought possible considering what I had originally come from. This is why I know that true healing of even the deepest traumas is possible - and in a much much shorter period of time than with any other method that I have ever heard of. Silvia Hartmann is my Master Teacher and I am still closely connected with her and her myriad of techniques and creations. I am forever thankful to her for showing me the way to magical, joyful, creative living.
